George Street Commercial Build, Stokes Valley

Orkney Roofing was engaged by Aoraki Construction to complete the roofing and cladding package for this new commercial facility in Stokes Valley. While the structure serves a utilitarian purpose, the finish was anything but basic — completed with the same high standards typically reserved for high-end architectural builds.

The roofing was installed in ColorCote Zinacore Veedek in Grey Friars, while the cladding was completed in the contrasting Titania colour — both supplied by Dimond Roofing. Precision installation ensured sharp lines and a cohesive, professional finish across the building envelope.

To manage rainwater, we installed Viking Enviroclad TPO in the box gutters, running full 30-metre lengths to eliminate joins and reduce long-term maintenance risk. Durolite clear roofing sheets were added to introduce natural light, increasing the building’s functionality while maintaining durability.

Flashing details and finish quality were executed with care and consistency — a hallmark of our approach, regardless of project scale.
